Lesbians are females and no male can ever magically morph into a woman and neither can any male claim to be a lesbian! Lesbians are an autonomous group not a subset of whatever men claim!

I'm signing because I'm very concerned about young lesbians being persuaded they are men if they reject femininity. Older lesbians remember how hard it was to Come Out, even 50 to 60 years ago, and the deliberate erasure and closing down of possibilities for young lesbians and potential lesbians is a disgrace. Youth workers such as myself used to run council funded young lesbian groups in girls' projects in the 1980s but the youth service has disappeared, as we knew it. We must keep fighting this.

I’m a cis-gendered heterosexual. I have always heard that gender and sexuality are separate. Therefore, if a person is identified as one gender on their birth certificate and sexually attracted to the same gender as identified on their birth certificate, they are homosexual. If they don’t identify as the gender on their birth certificate, they are transgender; cisgender if they do. So the only way a person can be a lesbian is if they were identified at birth as female, agree with that, and are sexually attracted to females. If they don’t agree with their identification as male but are attracted to females, they are transgender heterosexuals, NOT lesbians. To say otherwise is to tangle sexuality with gender, thus denying that gender and sexuality are separate concepts.

Transgender is different from gay/lesbian. Transgender is a FALSE ideology that is misogynistic and homophobic as it is undermining women’s rights and trying to force lesbians to accept men. Stop this. No men should have the ability to opt into womanhood on their command to enter: bathroom, sports, single sex spaces. Respect women XX chromosomes.

As a gay man I fully support my Lesbian friends!
