Our b.s. health minister is a joke. He had zero respect for any person who works for healthcare and no is proving is cares nothing about our seniors. Mr glavine, one day, I you are lucky enough, you will be one of those seniors. You think eating the food at $5.40 a day is tough what is it going to bbe by the time you get there?

Shame on you and McNeil both! Our seniors deserve better than this. I want to see you both eat 3 meals a day plus snacks on $5.40 a day! I'm a senior....it can't be done! Who do think paved the way for you both to get where you are....WE DID! Giving yourselves raises when low income seniors have inadequate housing and food. You should be ashamed of yourselves! People won't forget this come next election!!!

Well let's see Glavine - these people are in a nursing home!!!! Have they NOT contributed to CPP and other social programs for the MAJORITY of their lives???? Do they NOT deserve dignity, do they NOT deserve to now "reap the benefits" of the many, many, many years they sacrificed, contributed, voted, have done without have helped put YOU and your ilk where you now are??? How many, pray tell, of these folks having to live their lives out in a Nursing Home, have been the backbone of and responsible for the lifestyle you and yours now enjoy???? Here's an idea, make them REFUGEES and then they will MORE then have enough to feed and house them with PLENTY left over - for themselves. Novel concept!!!!!! Shame on you - doing NOTHING for so much gain.

you design a healthy diet for 5.40 a day and eat it for a month and see how much fresh fruit and decent meat you get to eat , oh and don't forget the fresh veggys
