I go to visit my friend here and it's so upsetting, something needs to be done. We need to be able to visit and spend time with our loved ones

Our Son-in-law Alan Baker was buried there just a few months ago and Our Daughter, along with his parents have put so much topsoil to keep the grave from looking like a paddling pool. My husband and I have paid for our plot at the cemetery 18 months ago and we were told then that the drainage was being sorted out and when you payover £1,800.00. How can we expect Our Children and Grandchildren to come to the cemetery to pay their respects to us when we pass away.

I am so disappointed with the situation up the grave I accept its been bad weather but when I buried my mum I was not informed that there was a issue with drainage which if I had known I could of made different arrangements ,it's been the worst time of my life losing my mum and I can't even visit her resting place , it's a disgrace and Coventry city council need to stop thinking about budgets and a more about action ,a lot of people are very upset it needs sorting

I haven't been to visit my sister's grave because of the state that Lenton's Lane Cemetery is in. There's just mud & water everywhere. It's too upsetting to see the state of my sister's grave like that!

As this is now the only Coventry Cemetery accepting burials it is shocking how bad the drainage problem is. Coventry City Council should offer an alternative and sort out the current plots.
