This is disgusting. People pay alot of money for there love ones. Going to there graves help in so many ways. There should be arrested fined put in prison. It's a person grave .

After losing my brother recently I can honestly say that my grief is worsened by the state of the graves, people steal flowers and the deceased ones possessions. My family and I have fell over and slipped on a number of occasions, the graves resemble sinking sand... and I can not get near enough to the grave of my brother due to its poor condition, it is almost impossible and very dangerous as there is no decent bus route and there is no pathway or any decent enter or exit signs. Lentons lane cemetery resembles a farm and is not suitable for humans. This is no way to honour the dead people, it is absolutely disgusting that the council is allowing this to happen especially when Kenilworth and St Pauls are much better kept. Therefore I am signing this petition on behalf of my brother and all the other deceased and their families to show my utter disappointment and contempt for the way Coventry council is allowing the unjust treatment of peoples loved ones final resting place

I never realised how bad it was down there until recently when we layed our beloved mother...it was like a swamp...Coventry city council have spent so much money doing up the city centre, have a heart and give some to Lentons Lane please..

When we lose someone we love so much, we need time to heal and grief, by going to see and visit your love ones at their final resting place, this should be a beautiful occasion, not a mud bath or a swamp, the conditions in which the council have left this cemetery, is nothing more than disrespect for the people that passed an for the families left behind. Just sort it once an for all........

Wat a mess. Mud everywhere. More pathways needed and better drainage This has been happening for the last 3 years. Adds to family grief to see their loved ones in such poor surroundings

We are choosing to lay our mother to rest in kenilworth tomorroe due to these conditions. Awful, double the cost but no choice for a nice unflooded grave my dad wanted a double plot and lentons could not do that because of the ground unfair especially for those that arnt lucky enough to have kenilworth as an option xxx

The drainage needs to be re-designed.
