My brother is buried here and it is an absolute disgrace, we cannot take his mother as she is to old to try and navigate the mire that is supposed to be his final resting place, It breaks our heart to see his grave in the state it is

My mum is buried at Lentons lane and I have to keep wellies in my car for when I go up there. Even a little bit of rain makes grass all soggy and horrible to walk on. All the graves are so close together and you just sink into the ground. We paid a lot of money for the burial spot to the council so the least they can do is keep the cemetery in a sufficient flood free state or at least put measures in to help prevent this from happening all the time.

As a family we have spent a lot of our time at Lenton's Lane since August. My mother in law sadly lost her mum and made the decision to have her rest here. Little did we know that we would be faced with its current conditions! My little boy who is 2, goes to the cemetery once a week at least to visit our loved one's ( my grandad is also here) and back in December, he slipped on the muddy path and split his head open on an ornament. My mother in law has also fallen on a few occasions. Not only is it distresses to see our loved ones resting place like this, it is also a serious health and safety issue for those that do visit!! A double plot here is a very large amount of money, where exactly does that money go??? Action needs to be taken NOW, before somebody is seriously injured!!

The council needs to get its priorities right with its allocation of funds, clearly drainage solutions are a far more worthwhile and important place to start than car parking or toilet facilities

This has been going on for years despite the drainage supposed to be improved. It is so heartbreaking when we visit our lives one's graves which are usually flooded.

Disgusting! Disrespectful and the Council ought to be ashamed, This is why people lose faith in you! This should go to the Local MP.

Not only the drainage needs sorting out but there should be proper paths leading to the graves, but what the council do , rope off the wet area , really??? they spend money on worthless junction modification but no money of cemetery improvements, totally useless people in the council house these days , and blame the weather now that is original thinking indeed
