This is totally unacceptable and needs a permanent solution now.

I believe it's disgusting that a cementary has been left in a state with no pre-planned flood plans or implications such as a drainage system had not been put into effect. Simply not acceptable.

I'm too discussed and distraught to leave a comment , other than these are our loved ones and they would be more respected and rested in our back gardens.

I am appalled at the state of the cemetery. My father in law, and a lot of my good friends are burried there, and to visit them is awful. Absolutely heartbreaking

Visiting the grave of your loved one is a natural part of the grieving process. It is a disgrace that families who have lost a loved one cannot do this at Lenton's Lane.

It is terrible I can't even get to the grave because of the swamp surrounding it. Have some respect for the families.

Coventry City Council £2million to improve the cemeteries you have just spent £25'000. Andrew Walster the only improvements that have been made, is woodchippings put down and mats put on top of them, which are now sinking into the ground now get out and sort it out as this is not going to go away.

Our loved one is buried here and it's disgusting. On a recent anniversary could not even stand at the grave due to water logging. Caused a great amount of anguish and distress. And to top it all off there were inconsiderate people walking dogs and letting them run sniff and God knows what else amongst the graves - its not just the council that needs to show some respect !!

My dad is buried here. We shouldn't have to visit him in these conditions. The council should be embarrassed of themselves allowing this to happen, they knew this would happen yet still continued to allow people to be buried here. Making another entrance to the cemetery was obviously more important than preventing flooding; and now you try to fix it with cheap temporary measure pumps bought from a local store. Embarrassed, and ashamed but mostly sad

It's a disgrace that it is allowed to get into this state and a disgrace that a petition is needed to pressure the council into sorting it! Shame on you (again) ccc
