Leniency due to Lack of Time , Accountancy CBSE 2016

I know the struggle of my fellow students and thus pray for them, please be lenient enough to get them a decent grade, due to many harsh constraints

Tough paper.

Hi sir/maam The exam was very lengthy . No one couldnt complete the paper . It contained lot of calculations which couldnt be finished within the limited time.

Please be easy on the correction as our whole future depends upon u guz

There was lack of time for writing. We couldn't get time to think and answer properly. We need linient correction. Cbse should consider our situation. I'm not talking from my point of view but for all students.

The accountancy paper this year was very lengthy and involved very tricky and time taking calculations. It is very disappointing that even after working hard for the whole year and practicing to complete question papers in the given time limit we could not complete the paper in time although we knew how to solve those questions.please ensure that the papers are corrected liniently.

No time I couldn't attempt an 8 mark question and two 6 markers

As a teacher of 12grade accounts, I feel students should be tested for their conceptual clarity and accounting knowledge in each of the topics rather than their ability to carry out complex calculations . Tedious calculations in problems such as issue of debentures and computation of interest coverage ratio and comparative statement was needless. Students with reasonably decent calculation skills were unable to finish the paper in time. The plight of weak students was even worse. It's high time cbse made the papers student friendly by revisiting the pattern. The disproportion between the time and effort involved in solving problems and the allocation of marks for the same is all too glaring. Students of cbse must be given a level playing field by either allowing them use of a simple calculator or alternatively making the figures easy to handle, without complicated calculations. It's a humble request to the paper setters in the interest of the student community, to revisit the paper pattern in the future. While making the paper application based is understandable denying students a chance to score by involving them in serious mathematical calculations is a sure way of discouraging students away from the subject and taking it seriously as a future career option.

The paper was lengthy

The Accountancy Paper was really really lengthy. Couldn't complete, Part B, Financial Accounting, the Cash Flow sum took FOREVER! Overall, the calculations took a lot of time, even after knowing the answers, we couldn't complete. And in that stress, we messed up the sums we were doing... in short, really bad paper. Its a humble request to have leniency while correcting, our future is at stake. Please stop setting such hard papers CBSE, not everyone can solve it. Please give us marks. Thank you!
