since I am in commerce we got a gap of 10 days and we solved all the sums from NCERT in those 10 days because usually questions are from NCERT.
But nothing came from there.
Now what is done is done we all expect leniency in correction at least. Because these marks are what decide our future

I am writing in relation with the Math CBSE Board paper of 2016. I am highly disappointed with the paper that was set. CBSE has to be following the paper pattern that they have told the students not change it at the last minute and expect the students to perform well. The questions were so confusing and tricky. The pattern was completely different and nothing came from the NCERT textbook which has been prescribed by the CBSE.
We are writing our 12th Boards which is very important to all of us and you cannot ruin our future despite our hard work.
The paper was very lengthy and there were too many questions which required a lot of thinking to reach the final answer.
What is the whole point of setting a paper which cannot benefit anyone? Examination are held to test us on what we have been taught. It is the responsibility of the people making the paper to know what students can answer and what should be put in the paper not that they sit with 100 supplementary books and randomly pick up questions from that.
The damage has already been done but we as students hope that the concern authorities understand the seriousness and become lenient with the paper correction.

Most of the students were unable to complete the paper on time. Similar questions have never appeared in any of the previous year CBSE exams. What is the expectation of CBSE from a grade XII science student who is given an NCERT Text book and several other tougher subjects which needs equal or more concentration? Is the motive behind this paper to demoralize the students or is this a warning for future students to opt out of Maths or from CBSE syllabus itself?

This is not a joke, what is even the point of studying for one entire year? This is definitely not fair where our seniors pass out with flying colours and our papers are just getting tougher!! We demand for lenient correction.

The questions were from outside the NCERT books. I am sure 90pc of the students found this paper very very tough and involved time consuming calculations.

It seems it is now a practice followed by cbse board to set tough papers since last year , I think by this act it just pressures the children . I belive all would agree that paper was tough and to rectify the boards mistake papers should be corrected lenient lyrics and make sure next year's papers are set by a responsible team who understands both sides of it.
