Leniency in correction for CBSE maths grade XII (2015-16)

Very tough

CBSE, this is ridiculous. Don't think you reach the standard level of top international syllabuses by putting such hard papers.

Well, They say Keep Calm..but can't do that NOW! Need 'Neutrally Lenient' correction! Everyone deserves grace marks

Okay. Cbse. It's fine. We really do know that the people who set our paper have high intellectual capabilities. Graduates, post graduates, doctorate holders. But you just can't keep on showing your prowess in the subject by torturing 18 year olds. No, its a really sadistic approach to prove that you are really smart. Go solve some of Hilbert's 23 or Thurston's 24 . Or maybe The Millennium Problems. Try picking up some of those type. That will show the world you are smart. Torturing teenagers, that's just cowardice. Unfaithful to the sample paper patterns and interchanging questions of 6 marks for 4 marks, it's a really great job you do out there. And it pains. For the one's who have worked throughout the year. You shatter their dreams. A proud smile on their dad's face and tears of joy from their mother's eyes. All that has been done, undone within 3 hours. You have no idea on how many Ramanujans and Shakunthala Devis you kill every year. So try asking yourselves, are the marks that you take away from us worth it? All of what we have done have drops of blood and tears in it. So when an answer sheet is taken for correction, just try asking yourselves, are you ruining a child's future according to the whims of the boards? Does the shattered wreckage of desperation and despondency of thousands of souls who have worked day and night give you pleasure? If yes, then what is the point of all these exams? Is it all a farce put up for the examiners, co-ordinators and head examiners who sit on their high horses? Does the pathetic performance of a student give them gratification? Are they overwhelmed with joy when they see that a student hasn't done a "HOTS" question? So try getting it inside that "intellectually supreme" head of yours. Something has to be done about this annual impaling of students all over India. Hoping that there is some sense and sensibility left in this 53 year old establishment of

Being a commerce student, I had 10 days to study properly and I still couldn't do the paper justice due to lack of time, please be lineant!

I am engineering graphics student and i had only one day for revision which is totally not possible and after that i get a lengthy and tough paper......

The math paper was an utter dissappointment. Math is a scoring subject. After practising several papers, from which I really scored well, this paper was really upsetting. If the exam papers and going to be of this level, then the material provided must be changed accordingly. Suicide rates are increasing every year. Does that not pass on a message?

It was a really tricky paper and we werent expecting this kind toughness for boards , especially when there are qns like these which consume time. So i do request for the correction to be linient

The paper was really bad! Very lengthy and tricky!! We really need a lineancy in correction! CBSE please help the students out as we all have prepared very hard throughout the year and definately expected a better paper but this turned out to be worse than the last year paper... Expecting lineancy in correction.. Thank you

It's soo disappointing when u actually study and then you get a paper where you can't do anything. It's depressing. When a paper this difficult is handed out, is the board only concerned about providing a challenge to toppers!? Aren't they totally neglecting us normal kids and underachievers!?! This isn't fair. For the sake of us students, please do have a lenient correction scheme.

the paper was very tough and lenghty i couldnt complete the paper even for the 1 marks we should do a lot of calculation and all so please do lenient correction

CBSE is trying to reduce the population of India by destroying students future [you know what I mean].

Only 15% of the paper was supposed to contain HOTS, According to the marking scheme...not 70%. This isnt the first time. Marking must be very linient. Thanks

People who try to overcome their phobia for mathematics cannot do so because they are confident before the paper and in the same place back where they were after the paper. Such difficult papers do not develop students rather ruin their self-confidence.
