Leniency in correction for CBSE maths grade XII (2015-16)
Dear sir/madam
It has been a great disappointment to understand that three quarter of the present twelfth grade batch has been submitted to such a tough cbse maths foreign paper. A paper which has tricky questions is indeed supposed to be given extra time especially when these 'questions' are included with time consuming calculations. Moreover while answering a paper a student must be exempted from all other disturbances like taking the answer booklet and checking if the filled in information is right. Like seriously, is it that essential to check every word if we have written our roll numbers with utmost precision. Another five minutes is lost in that for a student who is attempting a very lengthy and tricky paper like this.
Correction should be leniant for not only the sake of those students who are failing but also for those of whom this mark is of utmost importance for their college admissions, and that's EVERYBODY. CBSE should further understand that by pressurising the students to study tough portion doesn't help them to lead a better life rather it just depresses them to a certain extent that the three quarter and even the remaining quarter would have considered giving up. I hope I have knocked some sense into this institution who is trying to bring out the best in us but yet fails to do so by just pressurising "the future".
Sincerely
A concerned student
