MIXED MARTIAL ARTS FANS!! So anyone that is an MMA fan in Ontario may not no that MMA is not currently legislated in the Province of Ontario. It has been an uphill battle but its time to BE HEARD!!!

 The Ultimate Fighting Championship(UFC) has been pushing and making lobbying efforts in order to educate the current provincial government but we currently sit in the same position we did back in the 90's. A little support from Dalton McGuinty(Premier) and the signatures of thousands of people(fans) may push this movement to the brink of legalization. The UFC is the company making the most noise about bringing MMA to Ontario. We as constituents of this great province can BE HEARD, by passing this petition on to all MMA fans and or anyone that believes bringing MMA to Ontario a positive, not only for the government but the people of Ontario. An annual UFC events hosted in Toronto would bring an estimated $4 million dollars to local economy. That is only the money the UFC will generate. Many fight promotions will also hold events in the Province of Ontario because Ontario is a hotbed for MMA. Fans are rabid and passionate and want to see this happen.

If we reach my goal of 5000 online signatures I will make sure that this petition reaches the desk of Ontario's Premier (Dalton McGuinty), Ontario's Minister of Consumer Services (Hon. Sophia Aggelonitis), and every Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP's) constituency office in Ontario.

Although I would love to reach a number greater then 5000 signatures but its a good start. So lets work together and BE HEARD!! Lets bring MMA to Ontario.
