we are students who are working together to promote the legalization of marijuana in michigan, not just for medical purposes but recreational. Marijuana is a harmless plant that has been used to help people sustain a healthier life especially those who are sick with fatal diseases such as cancer and those who have seizures. we spend a large amount of our tax dollars putting people in jail for having possession of marijuana. yet we do not realize that we could be taxing marijuana for recreational purposes and saving that tax money and letting it go to education funding. we support marijuana because we know the benefits outweigh the negative factors.
