We need to move on and quit jailing people over petty issues, it just isn't right, do the right thing for the people, thank you very much :)

It's rather ridiculous to have marijuana as a schedule 1 classified drug in the same category as heroin and cocain and yet have an infinite supply of highly addictive opioid based pain medications at a physicians disposal to doll out to patients without knowing which patients have a propensity to become addicted. The first drug most teenagers are likely to become addicted to, is readily avaiable to them right in their homes. Alcohol is a socially acceptable brain cell killer and is even celebrated and marketed as a way to enjoy major holidays and sporting events. Yet the number if young people, doctors, law enforcement, politicians, veterans and attorneys that are alcoholics in this country is off the chart! Even with all the alcohol related deaths in this country It's still a huge money making enterprise. And even after becoming addicted to alcohol and pain meds,people who have received treatment for addiction can still walk into a grocery store and buy their drug over the counter. Not to mention the damage to rhe major organs of the human body. Yet marijuana has few if any lasting side effects, does not damage organs, and reaserch has shown promise in it's ability to repair cells and tissue and has a wide range of benefits in treating several diseases. What level of stupidity does it take to try keep the undertaker happy?
