Hedghogs were legalized a few days ago in Arizona. This gives me a lot of hope for their legalization in California, as most of California is very similar in habitat to Arizona.

Hedgehogs were made illegal because there is no natural predator to keep their population down, however I believe people can be responsible and as long as hedgehogs don't get out and sown how find another hedgehog, owning hedgehogs would be fine. They pose no threat to people or other animals.

I would love to have a Hedgehog as a pet. I don't like cats or dogs, Hedgehog are clean and do not smell! I would love to have them legalized so that I can take care of one.
