I desperately want off ALL my pain meds. Yes, one of them is a narcotic. I learned about medical marijuana today. I am confused and extremely angry that this is not available. THERE WAS A 25% DROP IN DEATHS DUE TO OPIOIDS IN STATES WHERE MARIJUANA IS LEGALIZED ! Can't you understand there are people desperate for help? One lady got off of 26 different medications because of medical pot ! I'm not hearing any negatives, at all, about medical pot. It truly concerns me that you have an inability to go in a positive direction on this subject. This is sooo easy for you to fix. So WHY aren't you fixing such an easy problem ? You appear to have ZERO compassion for so many people suffering. I just don't get it. Thank God elections are right around the corner.

I am not a pot smoker but know that it is no worse than alcohol use. There are many medical benefits too that we are being deprived of. People are using it regardless and the ones who want it are getting it anyway. Wake Up ! There are millions of dollars being lost from tax benefits we could inherit from it. Lets get smart and put our country out of debt. Right now the privatized jails are the only ones reeking profits from it.

Numerous studies have shown that not only is weed safer than tobacco, but also more helpful medically. India should leaglize weed to the same status it held before the badly thought out NDPS act, put in place due to american pressure.
From a religious standpoint, the atharva Veda calls marijuana as one of the 'five sacred plants' of Hindu doctrine. And from an economic and environmental standpoint, this one plant provides more commercially viable products than any other.
I believe its about time we legalize marijuana around the world and hope that the Indian government could set a precedence in this regard.

i am disabled i suffer from pain everyday of my life i am on hydrocodone and hate taking the vicodin for fear of what it is doing to my liver i am an advocate for marijuana as it does not have all of the negetative side effects my doctor has told me point blank he would rather i smoke a joint than take the pills i am an adult and should be allowed to make my own decisions

if cigarette companies use it to make cigarettest they will add chemicals to the plant just for the fun of it and to make it more addictive
it has proved to be a great medical resource for many people and no deaths of cannabis use alone have been found as i've been told.it doesn't even affect any appearances.
btw if it gets legalized can anyone help me get seeds to start farming

It needs to be legalized, I am tired of this miraculous plant being subjected to such a cruel outlook. people should wake up and realize. it is the best thing to happen to America since the economy was actually good and low gas prices.
