TNR is important in control of the cat overpopulation. This is the only humane way to decrease shelter intake.

I'm a community cat trapper and colony caretaker to over 20 community cats, mostly in industrial parks. I help citizens and businesses with their cat issues...Usually out of my own pocket. I SAVE LIVES! TNR is the ONLY humane way! Catch and kill doesn't work! C'mon PWC, and get on board like Fairfax County has done over 10yrs ago! Thank you!!!

Once cats are vetted spayed/nutered there should be no reason why they can't be released back to their colony. They can't breed, not babies, the colonies will dwindle.

TNR works! If you don't want an ever growing population of sickly cats in our area, let the TNR workers legally do the job they have taken on to fix the problem by continuing TNR, with the law behind them.

Please make TNR legal. My rescue has spayed or neutered over 450 cats in 2019. We are cleaning up the mess that others have made. Sadsac.org

I feed a few colonies. I am a community member and am allowed to trap but can not afford to fix cats but I then help to release them.

TNR is needed and necessary to help and limit those who cannot speak. Just killing is horrible and in humane. It’s not the animals fault they are deserted in the streets to be homeless. It’s the people who put them there and if they cannot be punished then we need to help all the animals we can.

I am a committed and active TNR participant... as well as fostering , vetting , adoption services ... ( some ferals are socialized , fully vetted and placed...)

TNR is the most humane way to manage feral and community cats while also managing the population. We can prevent excess breeding and spare these wonderful animals cruel fates by making this safe and legal.
