The Purge in our country would prove a great improvement. Crime has been rising significantly over the past years. People have pent up anger and dismay inside them and thus leads them to take action by committing illegal deeds and which therein leads to incarceration. If people were to know that one day per year would be set aside for this, the crime rate would significantly fall because people are able to release their anger without consequence. Yes, people will die. Yes, people will be robbed. Yet, if it is for a better society then a few lives should mean nothing. I believe the saying goes, "You have to break a few eggs to make an omelet." Should my life be lost in the process, then so be it. The goal in the long run is ultimately lowering the death rate to a few deaths a year which would be those that take place in the Purge.
