Legalize the commercial uses of Cannabis Indica in India
Cannabis is versatile because it has so many uses. It's uses can be traced back to thousands of years before Christ.
Products which can be made with or from Cannabis are as follows: Medicine, fuel, paper, food, rope, maps, clothes, nets, lace, soap, sails, shoes, plastics, explosives, caulking, fiberboard, paint, sealant, methanol, gasoline, fibre for fuel, bricks, charcoal, auto bodies, packing mass, lubricants, oil for lighting, oil for fuel, oil for lights, animal food, furniture, mats, varnish, lotions, ointments, lacquer, salad dressings.
There are an estimated 50,000 commercial uses. Until about 100 years ago almost all the world's bibles maps, sails, clothes and books were made out of cannabis. Much of the world's population has survived by eating hemp seed, cooked into a porridge called 'gruel'
In the last decade hemp has been widely promoted as a crop for the future. This is stimulated by new technologies which make hemp suitable for industrial paper manufacturing, use as a renewable energy source (biofuel), and the use of hemp derivatives as replacement for petrochemical products.
The increased demand for health food has stimulated the trade in shelled hemp seed. Hemp oil is increasingly being used in the manufacturing of body care products.
I am looking for the public to help sign this petition so they can join us to legalize the commercial uses of Cannabis Indica in India.
The basic reason why one should go for it is because it saves the wastage of a lot of natural products whose requirement could be fulfilled by one single crop ie Cannabis Indica.
So if u agree on my petition and want an environment much more advanced and developed along with saving our natural products then please sign the petition and share it on.
Thanks guys and let's all work together as a team and approach the Government of India in order to legalize the commercial uses of Cannabis Indica in India.
