It's great to see so many people have finally opened their eyes to the broad spectrum of both medicinal and industrial advancements of the use of marijuana as well as the recreational use.

Back when they criminalized it long ago, the government said the busting of users and possessors would benefit the economy by creating revenue. A few years ago, some politician against legalizing it (cannot remember his name, maybe Obama) said we won't legalize it just to create revenue from selling and taxing it. So why is gaining money from busting people ok, but gaining more money from legalizing it not ok? Tennesse has already legalized plenty of things that has done more than loosened that bible belt. Weed is nothing. All the bizarre claims that they said weed has done back in the past was proven false. Alcohol is so much worse. People lose their jobs and families over alcohol. People lose their jobs over weed because they get thrown in jail over it as if you were selling cocaine to kids. Legalize it!!! If the government doesn't like it, they just as easily ban it again.

I have chronic pain due to cirroces of the liver, hepatitis C, and sever back pain. I have tried pain medication after pain medication and it dose not stop the pain, and all it does is get you high and the pain is still there. not to mention it is addicted. I got addicted and got help. So I turned to smoking cannabis. It stopped the pain and it is not addicted. It may make you fill good. But who want to fill bad. We are sick enough, so why would we not want to fill good. I hope that makes since. But anyway I'll probably be one of the family's that are moving out of Tennessee soon. Eveyone is giving it 6 more months, if no change they all moving to Colorado including me and my family. Some are done gone, some are packing, and the rest are waiting 6 more months.

I think it would help a lot with just the taxes that Knoxville would get from legalizing it!

I have MS, Seizures and numerous other health issues. I take over 20 different medications for my conditions. I believe that legalizing marijuana would greatly improve my health. I will not have to take as much medications like I do now. Please legalize medical and or recreational marijuana. This will improve my health. God made it for those who suffer with pain and other health issues.

If marijuana was discovered in the 90's it would have been the biggest medical breakthrough since pinesilin! The hippies screwed it up for people who need weed!
