I'd rather see somebody smoke weed for nausea than prescription medications with harsh side effects. You don't hear of people getting high and killing people like you do from drunk drivers.

Not a fan of smoking but it's medicinal applications have withstood even the most stringent experimentation... helping countless lives in hopeless situations

It should be. More people die from alcohol a year than pot. By a long shot.

Manic depression is genetic in my family. My mother died of the age 40 due to server manic depression. My mother was prescribed medical marijuana and it was the only drug she took that helped her function each day. Please make this plant legal so we are able to help people who really need it.

Should be my rights .Other Americans have the right to grow or smoke pot . We should have the same rights as other states.

Marijuana causes much less bodily harm than either tobacco or alcohol. Profits from taxing its sales would be immense. Users will be happier, and non-users won't be affected any worse than non-drinkers are affected by alcohol being legal. The only people that are anti-marijuana are misinformed or closed minded. It should never have been illegalized in the first place. Prohibition is falling apart state by state, and it's time for Tennessee to get on board with the intelligent ones.

I think it should be legalized it calms the mind and soul. I can focus more on things that I am doing I can still function just fine when im high I get angry easy when im not high it dont hurt anyone. And besides its almost impossible to overdose on it you would have to smoke around 1500 pounds in like 2-3 hours I think is what I read. it will make crime rates go down . It will clean out the jails and prisons . It will help the economy . More money for the state and city . I mean really whats bad about all that .

Legalizing would provide an economic boost to local communities and state tax revenue would increase. All while decreasing prescription drug abuse for a drug that is relatively harmless compared to prescription drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
