Marijuana will be legal by the end of the decade in the United States. My goal with this Petition is to try and make it legal in Michigan before then. The reasoning is very simple, if it is legel here, we can put the systems in place ahead of time, so once it is legalin all 50 states,we will be years ahead of the rest of the country. Prohibition did not work with alcohol and it needs to end with Cannabis. There are many uses for industrialized Hemp (25,000+ to date). It is time to end this frivolous war on Hemp.

legalize it and tax it shut down the cartels and fix the counties financial whole the government continues to grow.
This will bring a lot of tax money to our state and not put people in jail for nonviolent marijuana crimes.
Dont smoke haven't in years. But do believe it has many new jobs waiting to grow Michigan economy stronger then ever we need this really bad
i think it should be legal, for many reasons, it would bring so much money back to the communities, alot of people could get off prescription drugs, for medical reasons, alot of people cant afford the MM cards, and alot of senseless spending of tax payers dollars housing ppl in jail and in prison, over something that is grown as man made, alcohol should be illegal, its ruined more lives than pot..
Marijuana works absolutely wonderful for my pain management. I have fibro and a couple other chronic pain conditions. I now sleep better and have less pain.

it's time to legalize. as a patient using medical marijuana and as an adult who believes this is better then alcohol.
