Slow and cautious lane filtering can indeed save lives. I am aware of several motorcyclists who have been seriously injured [and two killed] by distracted motorists. I was almost one several years ago.

Please pass this law, as we motorcyclists are always at risk of being rear-ended by drunk drivers, as well as being able to keep cooler in summer traffic with continuous movement through stopped vehicles.

It absolutely works. There are several easy to digest videos by Fortnine and other legitimate YouTube channels with sources, statistics and citations to prove it is the best option in all cases.

Please I live in Las Vegas and ride year round. Not only does it make it safer for me preventing myself from sitting at the back of a line. Putting me endanger of getting rear ended. It also helps me stay cooler on 110 plus summer days. I love motorcycles and follow the law. Not allowing lane filtering only hurts safe riders. The people that ride without plates while speeding and splitting lanes aren’t going to change their ways. Please don’t lump me with them punishing and endanger me because of their bad decisions.

It's very difficult to ride an 800lb bike in stop and go traffic or even 5 mph. Besides the fear of hoping the drivers behind you are paying attention. Slow filtering, with the help of drivers moving over to make space is the safest way to go.

It benefits both motorcyclists and car traffic to have lane splitting/filtering.
