Don't deny me the right to marry the woman I love because it makes you uncomfortable. Your lack of acceptance and denial of my feelings makes me uncomfortable

Every one should be treated equal! If heterosexuals can get married, treat eachother like absolute shit and get divorced why cant two people who love eachother get married!

As someone that has a very close association with members of the LGBTIQA community, it is and absolute travesty that they are not seen as legitimate couples in the laws eyes, and this must be rectified immediately!
If an arguably conservative society such as the Irish or an American state such as Texas or Kansas (home to the infamous Westboro Baptist Church) can see fit to legalize this union, than it's high time Australia follows suit!

Love is love. Let people marry whom they love. It's not our business. It doesn't interfere with our lives. Let them live their lives while we live ours so the Parliament can get on with dealing with actual politics.

As a father who's daughter is bisexual, I'd like to think that - regardless of gender - she will have the legal option to wed her chosen life partner if she chooses. It's about time the separation if church and state became a reality in our cosmopolitan democracy

Should have happened from the start of all marriage and not even be an issue. Legalise it already

Happy to sign it but not confident it will change anything in Australia. tony "the bigot" Abbott didn't even support his own sister's same sex union, cant see him supporting mine.....
