The people who run these food trucks are just as passionate about their creations as any other restaurant. They deserve to make a living too.

I love the Btown food trucks! They are an important part of downtown life in cities and it would be a shame to lose them!

charge a street vendor fee and health code conformity. A hot dog vendor won't put a restaurant out of business especially in the rain and snow.

Discouraging these small entrepanuers seems to be quite unfair. I believe most food trucks repect the space of traditional restaraunts. Try ticketing those that dont obey the current restrictions we have. If you go to Austin, Tx or Portland, Or and see the amazing contributions food trucks bring to those cities perhaps you would view things differently. It also seems unamerican for any local, state,or federal government to favor one business over another. If a local restaraunt cannot compete with a food truck then they should rethink their menu. Let the consumer decide where they want to spend their money. If somebodys traditional restaraunt can't compete and closes another one will take its place. Bloomimgton has a great food culture, don't diminish it by catering to a certain class of business.

Food trucks are a great way to increase foot traffic downtown, especially when the parking meters are still driving customers away. The city needs all the help it can get to keep downtown vibrant and thriving!

limiting competition is bad for a market economy, no matter the scale.
