Until this goes through, though, do some research on Coturnix Quail. Much similar to the chickens, do not crow at all (literally incapable of it!) and their eggs are so so good and packed with nutrients. Plus they require less cage space and (as far as I know) are not illegal! Best of wishes

I see no harm in a people having a couple of chickens for egg production. I do believe however it should be limited to 4 per household

This should not even bee an issue. People should have the right to raise their own food especially with the crap that is being forced upon us by the corporations. The gene pool of chickens is also in decline because of the lack of variety. This would also get some kids off their IPhones and maybe spend time with the local 4H clubs.
