The VIs need a better and more ways to get around! It's the reason we stopped going after a while. Would love to go back and spend our winters, but transportation is an issue.

We need competition badly. Tourism is a major factor on STX and the taxi service on St. Croix is sub par. From the vehicles condition to the fact that they don’t run when it’s dark out and they only take cash is completely unacceptable

Without ride share our St Croix trip would have been very limited as we did not want to drive a car (not used to different lanes and locations as tourists) and taxis want larger groups and are often unavailable. Most only take cash ( only ATM in airport did not work) and were not available to schedule in advance. Taxi fares were also vague. As a traveler used to Uber we prefer it every where we go

Legalize it. Taxis are terrible, they don't take cards, they don't drive safe. Not safe for pandemics. They don't deserve so much space on the roads in town because there aren't that many taxis. Put metered parking instead!!

VI Hail has helped me immensely as an exchange student at UVI! This is such a beautiful island, but as a student without a car of my own, I’m meant to find rides everywhere I go to see & experience such beauty. I can’t begin to describe the hassle it’s been waiting on unreliable taxi service or bus schedules that aren’t held as they’re posted. It is simply a pre-dated means of transportation & has wasted hours of my time, as well as many others’ as I can imagine. Ride share apps provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation for anyone in the VI, and I sign this petition not only for myself, but for the people of this wonderful island! It’s time for a change, the VI deserves better! The days of waiting hours on end for a ride should be no more! I urge the proper leadership to consider this petition for the betterment of the Virgin Island PEOPLE. It’s time to be modern. It’s time for a change. Thank you!
