People still need rides after the taximen have gone home. And one or two people don't need a whole van. Ridesharing just makes sense.

Local business needs this just as much as anyone. If local businesses are thriving, so is everyone else.

I like this because it needed mostly for our locals that cannot get around properly with the bus service or the local taxi

Its needed on all 3 islands. The taxi mafia is out of hand. Every civilized country o the planet has it why not us?

We should look at this venture as beneficial. Operation/operators can provide 24/7 services. It can reduce DUI and traffic accidents as this is an option for people going out to drink. The older taxi drivers stop one by 6pm, they don't go into certain areas on the island. And most disheartening is when tourists are in town they pass the usual patrons without a second thought. This is a job young men/women can do to earn an honest living. We want to focus on tourism, and this is what many are looking for the convenience.

I’m visiting for a month from Boston and couldn’t afford a rental car for the entire duration. I tried multiple times but couldn’t get the taxi drivers to pick me up. VI Hail is the only way I was able to get around the island. It’s affordable, safe, convenient, and the best option for tourists in my humble opinion.
