Uber and Lyft are lifesavers for US residents. We use them all the time and feel comfortable and safe doing so. You would be doing all of us a favor legalizing and regulating rideshare in the USVI.

We need reliable transportation for late workers, hard working students and for those who want to enjoy late nigh festive on the island. VITRANS unfortunately isn't as reliable and $3 taxi do not cater to locals when tourists are on island. The real question is, how do you want us as locals to thrive on the island we live on when there is no resources for us to do so? How do you expect us to build our community when there isn't no way or means to get to where we have to go? And how do you expect people to come back home knowing that the island isn't thriving for greatness?

Create ride share in St. Croix. Taxi cabs take big tips going east over service to locals.

I am considering retirement in the VI but do not prefer to drive or own a vehicle. Without ride hailing I likely will not make this my retirement home.

Taxi's charging PER person when it's a part and 3 young children should be illegal. Rideshare is a much better option.

Without reliable Public Transportation in the VI, folks are left waiting for hours on the side of the road. We deserve a Rideshare service. All Hail VIHail.

Wholeheartedly encourage and agree that VI Hail should also operate on St. Thomas. In my line of work, I am in constant contact with island visitors who regularly inquire about rideshare services. Even myself, whose island car needs occasional 'surgery,' could use such a service

This is critical for our guests that have difficulty finding transportation to our business

Demand for transportation exceeds supply. A vibrant economy is dependent on including ride share as a viable business and supporting independent work force.
