Be able to get around when visiting

We need transportation at all times of the day when we can not wait all day for citron or taxi van

This would be a great asset to the Virgin Islands bringing pricing competition with the taxis as well as more job opportunities for those needing a job or wanting to have an extra income

Way too expensive

As a visitor to the U.S. Virgin Islands, one thing that immediately stood out to me was the lack of reliable ridesharing services such as Uber or Lyft. Coming from Miami, where I previously drove part-time for both platforms, I experienced firsthand how beneficial ridesharing can be not only for tourists, but also for local residents and drivers seeking supplemental income. The current transportation situation in the Virgin Islands can feel inconvenient, unpredictable, and unnecessarily expensive for both visitors and locals. Traditional taxi services certainly have their place, but the absence of rideshare options limits transportation accessibility, competition, affordability, and flexibility. For many travelers, especially younger generations and international visitors, ridesharing has become a standard expectation when visiting destinations. As someone who has personally worked within the rideshare economy, I understand both the opportunities and the importance of proper regulation. The Virgin Islands do not have to eliminate traditional taxis to embrace innovation. Both systems can coexist successfully, as they do in many cities across the United States and globally. The islands are a beautiful destination with incredible potential, but modern and accessible transportation is an important part of economic growth, tourism competitiveness, and quality of life. I strongly support allowing responsibly regulated rideshare services in the Virgin Islands.

As a visitor the service is invaluable

The fact that this service has not been available before is appalling and shows that the government of the Virgin Islands wishes to keep its people oppressed and care is very little for the welfare of the population when it comes to things like drinking and driving

This is a great idea for St Croix! I fully support this movement.

I took a vi hail ride to and from christiansted and it was a very useful service while on vacation here. As St Croix adapts to increase it's tourism economy, having rideshare options for tourists will be critical.

Legalize and Fairly Regulate Rideshare in the U.S. Virgin Islands. As a travelers I don't know the laws of the road or my way around effectively. Ride share is a great way to reduce stress of travel and increase safety on the roads.
