The government has officially moved to recognize same-sex unions. We will now monitor the implementation phase to ensure these new protections are enforced correctly in every legal jurisdiction.
In Singapore, gay marriage is not only illegal, but homosexuals aren't allowed to be together in private or public. We think that is injustice to the members of the LGBT community, because all people should be allowed to love whoever they want. We want to let everyone to be able to love and marry who they want in Singapore, just to make this country a happier place. We all share the same love. <3
The increase in public interest has prompted a local news outlet to reach out for an interview regarding our objectives. I am currently drafting a formal letter to present to the relevant government offices to ensure our core arguments are documented on the record.

We often have little control over who we love. It seems wrong to stop anyone from being able to express their love only because of an archaic social system.

Love should not have rules and boundaries. There is no right for a single person or community to order someone they "cannot" love that person. The LGBT community deserves much better.
Love is not a choice, it is a right.

It is like having a crush, but in the same gender. Can't we love who we love? Why aren't gays or lesbians allowed to be themselves. It is just not right!

It is normal to be gay or lesbian. this shouldn't be illegal because it just means that you like a person from the same gender as you are.

I think gays and lesbians are all still human and they deserve to be treated better than thinking that they're different and not normal than us. These people should also be confident about what they truly are and shouldn't be ashamed to talk about their sexuality. Therefore, we should treat them the same and also we should treat them more seriously.
