How Is it that Children Legally in USA are Often Forced to Leave & Denied Opportunities?

My husband & I with our two daughters will have this problem soon. Daughters 16 & 17.

If I understand this correctly, kids brought to the USA under legal parental Visas must go back at the age of 21, but those here illegally can stay? If that is correct, there's definitely something very wrong!!

I wish our children even had the option to earn their citizenship. Currently there is no way for these dependents to earn a path to legal status in their own right or even serve for their adopted country

This is for my family living in the USA, they work so hard and abide by all the rules yet my nephew reached 21 and was deported. My niece will be 21 next year and the same is likely to happen to her. They are good people and self sufficient and don't ask for nothing from the state, but are treated badly. The children have grown up there, attending high school and want to work for living but are penalised for this. I think it's a disgrace that law abiding families are forced to split because of the rules of this visa.

Children whose parents have invested their money in buying businesses in the USA, who have paid their taxes and continued to invest in the country should not be forced to leave their families.

This has to change, it is so unfair.

E2 visa holders have been living in US as business owners, creating jobs, buying supplies from vendors for their business , paying taxes. sending their children to school and Universities. Paying Foreign students fees for those students are turn 21 and over. They lose E2 dependent status. These children were brought to USA by parents when children were very young. In my case my son was only 4 years old, my daughter was 9 years. They are grown now. have American Friends. They cannot work unless school offers job. They have no friends or in some cases any relatives in the country they moved from. Their home country is now the USA. I think they are deserved to be granted a legal status in the USA. Thank you for considering for the sake of children the status so they don't live in fear. This is a free country. They also deserves and earn their rights since they have grew up in this land. It would be appreciated if Congress considers to grant these children Green Card.

I think that any child that comes to live in America, under their parents visa, should be allowed to stay under the terms of that specific visa. Most were probably young children, and didn't have a say, or were to young. There life is where their parents made theirs. Extend the visa to the children

Please allow the kids to stay, this beautiful country is their home.

These children deserve stability in their lives. Give the parents Greencards if they invest in a business within the United States.

The law needs to change for E2 Children. They are educated in the US ,then expected to leave and find work ,often with an education that is not recognized by their home country. Our three sons would be an asset to the US.

Our son is 3 years old and all he will know is American life. We have been here nearly a year and I know time will go fast. We have to change this stance on our kids here under our E2 visas. We are hard working people, our business is growing and we so want our son to have the same opportunities as all the other kids when he comes to school age! More so our family can't be parted when he turns 21 years old :( #cantdream
