There are so many large trucks speeding on this highway. So glad that my daughter and grandchildren are still alive after this accident.

Thank God my grandchildren and daughter in law are all safe. Traffic from both directions on this road is unsafe.

So, it looks like they've started on the project to widen and make a turn lane - correct? Also looks like they're making improvements to the intersection with Old Federal.

It has become a dangerous stretch of road over the 18 years I have lived in the neighborhood. I have a child who is beginning to drive & I am so worried with the increase of accidents right here at my front door basically! A left turn lane has got to be implemented soon.

We have been trying to get something done here for years. It would be great if finally something was done.

There are too many accidents here. I'm tired of my tax dollars funding county projects in South Forsyth and a bypass to accommodate a Wal-Mart we neither want not need. There are lives at stake. I was hit in this spot 8 years ago and there have been many since. This road is too busy to not have this safety precaution for our neighborhood.

My family have lived here since 2000. About 10 years ago my wife's vehicle was crushed by an Advanced Disposal Truck. The police estimated the truck hit her full speed, going 55mph. It's amazing she wasn't more seriously hurt and thank God my children weren't in the car. A turn lane would be such a simple solution. Why it hasn't been done by now is beyond me.

Our good friend and her three small children were recently re ended at this location. God protected them, but PLEASE make this area a safe area before someone gets killed. Thanks

I sign this petition on behalf of all those who have been in accidents because of this issue.

We've lived in this neighborhood for twelve years and had too many close to count. I'm so afraid that more families are going to be injured before something is done to alleviate this continuous problem of wrecks at out neighborhood entrance. Vehicles fly around these curves and don't slow down going down the hill going towards our subdivision entrance. Something has to be done before loss of life! Please construct a turning lane! Concerned mother of two girls!

This is very important for the safety of the residents. Imagine if you had to fear everytime you have to take a left to get to your home that you will get rearended. It happens too many times, and the near misses aren't even counted. I have to watch in front of me and behind me to make sure the person is stopping if not I have to slam on my gas to get out of the way. This has happened too many times to count.

At least on accident per week due to increased truck and non commercial truck through this corridor.

Please, for our safety and the safety of families, add a turn lane to our neighborhood.
