My 2 year old daughter loves coming here but the park is needing repair and a revamp its sad as its such a lovely place with the surroundings

I have a new baby who will soon be wanting to enjoy parks. At present, I wouldn't be happy taking her to western flats park it is very run down. A shame when the rest of the park is lovely.

The equipment is ok but could do with a refurb. The toddler swings could be improved. A full replacement of the floor is needed. Additional equipment should be installed like a seesaw and roundabout and other things too-like you can find at Roundhay park. Better signage and enforcement of the no dogs rule would be good. This playground needs to be fantastic, there's nothing else around. Nearest alternative is Armley park, but that playground is horrific and a complete failure

This is in great demand - the amount of children that are missing out on a playground in this area is massive.

Although I no longer live in the UK, I grew up close to the park and used it lots and remember the large slide. Modernise the park to help make the children fitter

I do think it’s time this park was revamped, and had new swings, slides etc installed.. and it’s also a risk to the children that play there, when the things are so old, and worn.. there could easily be accidents.

I love this park, I’m here right now in the rain, we need this for the local children, it’s important, , it’s a great place to be in this lovely park

This park definitely needs upgrading. One thing along with many others is the rubber on the ground which is meant to be safe actually isnt once wet, due to all the trees surrounding it making it slippy so many kids have slipped due to this and hurt themselves. I know the trees cant be removed but the ground needs a safer covering.

It’s disgusting,the council would rather close the park than spend any money on doing it up ,it’s the same at stanningley park ,it’s not been closed down but council won’t spend any money instead some stupid signs have been arected that the idiots won’t take any notice of
