I grew up in Redlands :-) moved to Coos County, OR in 1992. Best thing to ever happen to me!

This petition is being prepared specifically for a meeting on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 with the County Commissioner, showing that the community supports the cleanup of our area. Les Sanitation has agreed to haul the trash, now we need help getting funding to remove the tires. Cleanup efforts are being threatened by lack of funding, being told that efforts need to halt until funding is gained. This is in support to allow the cleanup to continue.

I don't quite understand the position of the commissioner and Les' Sanitation in your petition text, but I support any effort to clean and protect the environment.

Trash needs to go, if citizens are helping pay for his mission the city/county can help.

The fact that the anyone one would degrade the hard work of volunteers that are trying to keep Oregon beautiful is absolutely disgusting to me. They should be ashamed of themselves. Oregon is known for its natural beauty, isn't it worth it to keep it that way for our future generations??

For the money they make charging us residents, they can allocate a fund for this tremendous effort.

The way our county looks is sad. The litter must be clean. The amount of tires in the forest is not OK and need to be taken care of now.

City should be responsible to remove this after the citizen are out there on their own dime cleaning it up!

Awesome job, and yes, the county needs to help with the tires. They may need to think outside the box for outside funding for generations of trash.

I'm so sick and tired of the "good old boys" club of Coos county! Somebody trying to keep you from finding more than tires. Maybe you should get hold of Green Peace and give them your story. They have lots of experience dealing with dicks...just saying
