Why alter the pub it's one of a kind left in town now, plus not everybody like sport ie. football or rugby. If they do there are lots more pubs with big tv's for sports fans, leave this little pub alone.

This pub is a treasure. If the company alters it it will be just like every other pub. They should look again at their plans and realise that it is an asset to their company and keep it that way. Fashions change but once a pub like this is gone it is for ever and they wil probably regret it.

why change a pub that already works been using the tiv since i was 18 the last pub in town that has not been done up .why change it yes redecorate dont you think top town has enough kiddies bars in town and they dont always work...

The Tivoli Tavern in its present state is part of the heritage of Grimsby.This council would be bending over backwards if rather than a pub it was some pile of rocks and soil, otherwise known as Viking settlement I'm a relative newcomer to the town, 1972-73 and while i do use other pubs, not one comes anywhere close to the Tivoli. Never a dull moment, very few incidents over the years, great service, great customers, no dogs (except guide), no children, don't think we could ask for anything else. Surely the NELC could use their undoubted powers to sway the new owners to a different way of thinking
