If you owned her before the ban I am pretty sure the law states you can keep her as long as she is muzzled when outside (sadly) and spayed ... double check this as I may be wrong but I'm almost positive this is what it states

By-law I believe knows nothing about raising dogs. So it's not within reason for them to take something away that they know nothing about. Wondering what breed by-law will attack next! What a sad way to run things.

Tasha should be grandfathered in as you have had her before the ban! I think banning pitbulls is stupid! All dogs big and small can be vicious so why puck on one breed!

All dog breeds can be trained to be vicious. Same as people, it's all in how you raise them.

It is beyond disgusting that bylaw would try to take this dog for abpsoultely no reason other than because it's apparently considered a "dangerous breed". This dog should be covered under the grandfather act! Makes me so frustrated!!! Maybe we should start arresting certain people whom are sometimes considered to be "dangerous" even if they have not yet committed a crime because they COULD. Seems pretty damn stupid doesn't it?
