She should be able to keep her dog in the family! Rehoming her because of her breed after 11 years is beyond ridiculous! Would you want to be removed from your loving family in your last years?

IT HAS NEVER BEEN THE BREED!! HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE OWNER!!! PITBULLS ARE SOME OF THE MOST KIND AND GENTLEST OF DOGS! Also I thought all dogs older then the stupid bully ban, were "grandfathered" therefor could not be distroyed for no just cause other then actually attacking someone... let this dog live... let all pitbulls live!!!

Let this family keep their beloved pet! This ban needs to end! Any breed can have issues at the hand of bad owners. Ridiculous taking loving pets from their loving families.

This is so ridiculous the ban on pit bulls . not all of them are bad . Most are well behaved . I would be devastated if someone took mine away , they're family !! They deserve to have the same respect as other breeds do .

Dogs are family not pets.
A dog is not "bad" or "angry" or even "violent" becaus of its breed, a dog responds to how the family treats it.
I say dog and not a particular breed because this is with any dog! As small as a Chihuahua to as large as a Great Dane.
People have been blaming dogs for human misbehaviour for too long, it's time to stop punishing the dogs. Let dogs stay with their loving family's.
