Why in heavens name would you want to tear a TWELVE YEAR OLD DOG away from her family that loves her. Get a friggen life! There are tons of pit bulls in Ottawa and they are allowed to live here. Stop the insanity!

Cruel and ridiculous.
Dogs already in Ontario have a by, as long as certain restrictions are followed. And that dog is probably not pure pit bull.
I suggest getting DNA done.

This is absolutely ridiculous. If someone forced me to get rid of a dog just because of its breed, I would be suing the pants of the person. So if Grandma gets old should I get rid of her too because elderly people are known to get senile. Just saying.

I'm a true believer that breed has nothing to do with being a bad dog. Bad dogs come from bad owners, and people/kids who don't know how to handle dogs. It's emotionally and mentally cruel to remove a family member because of breed.
