There is nothing wrong with the breed... Its all the owners fault and how they are trained.... And I see nothing wrong with this one. My mom owned a Pit bull and it was the best do she ever had!!!

Breeds do not make bad dogs owners do. When I was a pet sitter the worst dog I cared for was a Shih Tzu, it was all teeth and wouldn't let you near it. There was a Pit Bull that was all kisses.

Praying the do not take this dog. It would be the most inhumane thing to do. It is their family member. It has never harmed anyone. I think there are more important things to focus on like finding criminals or illegal immigrants. But to seize someone's family member, that's just disgusting.

This is unbelievable... this is cruel... dogs are a part of the family... this is a gentle family pet. I would expect better from a small town that supposedly cares for its population. Leave this dog and this family alone. Please.!

Absurd! A gentle dog with no history or violence? Leave them be. Breed specific legislation is uninformed to begin with, and enforcing it only enhances the stupidity. Please show some compassion for a situation that is clearly of no danger to the public.

I wouldn't want to see anyone's Family Fur baby taken away. Just isn't Humane and right. Shame on those people trying to take that dog away

This is not right or okay.

You are trying to take away a 12 year old dog that is a safe and gentle pet. What about all the other ones that I see all over the province. Kingston is riddled with pit bull type dogs but no one seems to care. As long as they are under the owners control at all times then I don't see what the problem is. Stop destroying families by takeing away their pets. I don't like or agree with the ban, but, a permit to own banned dogs would be a better way to go. Just like with venomous reptiles.

There are other dogs who are aggressive and vicious which are not pit bulls. The environment is a problem, not the breed of the dog. Unless there is evidence that the dog is aggressive and is a threat to people, then leave the dog in the home!

Dogs don't deserve to be torn from their loving family. Let the poor puppy stay with her loved ones.

I would be devastated if i had to get rid of my boy i hope you can keep your dog

Stupid bylaw with no science to back it up. I can't understand how they aren't even allowing for grandfathering of animals at the very least.
