Come on folks, offended? I’m offended at all of the people being offended. You don’t like it, move!! It’s history, for Gods sakes!!

We, the majority and the realists who accept that this Nation has a history, whether we like that history or not, need to stand up for that history and protect its preservation and not let these extremists (really the weak minded) modify it to their liking. Preserve the facts not just what you want the facts to be.

These statues remind us of what our country paid for. Freedom for all with the price of blood. A lot of people have forgotten that this war has already been fought and trying to start another. Stop erasing American history.

You can't erase history. This is saying to the soldiers that died fighting that they do not matter.

We shouldn’t have to remove things because of someone else’s feelings. The statue is a reminder of the past so the past doesn’t repeat its self.

If you take this statue down because of a few group of people that doesn't know anything for which it stands for then they will be in our cemeterys demanding the same thing about the monuments that are there to. Leave them Alone

Keep history in its place. It may not be the prettiest history, but it happened.

We’ve come a long way as a nation. These statues are an important reminder of a differen time... not to be tucked away in the corner of a museum, but out in the open for all. This push to abolish these statues is so un-American! Even Germany recognizes its history of horrors and has various wwll death camps open to the public to visit, dwell, and kearn from! KEEP our confederate statues, parks, and plaques!!

A nation that erases the past is bound to make the same mistakes in the future.
