Lived here my whole life. Never once in my life heard ANY complaints about this statue. I love my hometown and its history. I refuse to let my town be subjected to ridicule from outsiders. The ones who don't understand our local history. DO NOT TOUCH IT.

This statue has been a part of Belton history for longer than I've been alive. They need to just get over their winning and leave it alone.

Had enough of people with hurt feeling over nothing trying to change the past. Grow up. Worry about your future instead of an inanimate object tha never bothered you before some idiot told you it bothered you. Sheep.

This statue represents 1,037 men from Bell County that volunteered, then left home to fight for their country.
