The Statue was paid for by the Bell County United Daughters of the Confederacy #101 to honor the men of Bell County who answered the call to serve. Leave the statue alone.

Please leave them alone. There is no hate stemming from that statue, but if it is removed, tens if not hundreds of thousands of Bell county citizens will be enraged over this stupid new trend of bending over backwards to please a group of irrational people.

for years & years, those tributes have stood and never “offended” anyone. I’ve always seen that particular statue as a salute to the men and women who died in yet another war. Not as a symbol of racism.
