Stop trying to turn Ayr into a retirement town full of charity shops and nursing homes. The beach and the history is practically all we have left and amazingly people still want to visit, they won't if there are no decent facilities or attractions. Add to it appropriately, with local participation and stop eroding our legacy!

Stop selling places and land that were gifted to the people of and not the council, just like Thorneyflat Hospital which was gifted to the people of ayr by the Americans which you bulldozed your way through and sold it from under our feet to help your financial gain or otherwords your pay rises

Totally agree with this petition, all this council seem to want to do is build houses and house, and now even a nursing home down there, stop this now!
