Rush has given me inspiration, hope, motivation, and happiness most of my life. I can truly say their words and music have kept me going many times over- and helped me pick my amazing husband! I am embarrassed as a life-long Ohioan at the disappointing and seemingly meaningless method the Hall of Shame uses for its induction process and would like my voice to be heard. Rush got a great start with Working Man at WMMS- THE Rock station of Cleveland, And How can someone ever say Neil, Alex, and Geddy Don't ROCK! They Are the MASTERS!!! we see many others with less talent/time (and the worst offenders- the hypocrites who site Rush as an Inspiration but accept their own induction before those who inspired them in the first place- ugh!!) getting this honor, for Rush to be unsung this way hurts my heart and soul. Many great artists are neglected, but if you love Rush, too, and feel they are LONG overdue, please sign this petition for my 10th leap year birthday wish! We have until 12/21/12 :) Even though it's probably more of an insult than an honor...
