Born and raised here in Coronado - daughter of a fighter pilot, wife of an A-6 pilot and mother of a a Marine. This is a great idea and project.

Military spouses should be honored. The work they do to keep the home life stable and strong is just as important as the work their spouses are doing. Both are serving the country with honor - just in different ways.

These ladies need to be remembered and honored. They represent all wives that experience consequences from their husband service and pain from the POW time!

These women did heroes work to help institute protections for POWs and help negotiate to bring them home safely. They are more than worthy of a permanent memorial.

As a military spouse myself, I can’t thank these women enough for all of their dedication and hard work. They forever changed the role of a military spouse for the better.
