I was a housewife for fifteen years.
Seriously, I worked overnights while my wife had the daytime corporate job.
I miss those afternoons greeting the kids after school, getting them fed and off to their activities.

Too bad the former home of POW ADM Edward Martin at 910 Balboa Ave was demolished 5 years ago without a permit. While he was imprisoned it was a hub of activity.
