It is amazing that Riot is now considering a very much needed Voice Chat (Herein VC) function for League. However, instead of limiting VC function to only premade teammates, it would be better to allow an option for the entire team.

Limiting VC to only premade teammates makes it redundant as most premades are already communicating on other platforms. (Skype, Teamspeak, Discord). It is the unknown party members in the team that we need to be able to communicate with.

A strategy game with 5 players require effective communication to create a fun and conducive environment. However, this brings up an unavoidable problem where trolls and flamers will spam teamchat. A solution for this would be to allow players to mute individuals that are being negative while still retaining the ability to communicate effectively with the other members of their team.

To summarize,

1) It is important for all 5 players to communicate effectively.

2) Easy to avoid problems with spammers and flamers by allowing selective individual muting.
