I had aggressive/progressive MS that started when my wife was finally (after 5 yrs IVF) pregnant with our (now 5) twin girls. I was told due to the ferocity of it to get my affairs in order. My Boss made me redundant and told me that I was dying infront of him and it was not good for anyone. I was a Director of Ops and Head of solicitors. He had watched me lose 4 stone, drag myself around desperately trying to cling onto my job (I'd only been there 18months). One less than compassionate nurse, told my pregnant wife that at the rate it was progressing I would be lucky to reach 5 yrs. The LDN halted and reversed 90% of my symptoms. No bladder problems now. My legs work so I gave my wheelchair back and now may only fall if I try to spin around too quick, unlike before when I felt like my world was spinning around 24/7. . The shocks down my spine stopped as did the numbness, torso gripping tightness, feeling I had stones/wood in my slippers, itching and night time hell-cramps/restless legs. I wore nappies but at times my bladder would not empty at all, or just emptied with no warning. That's gone. My jumping sight stopped. I am left with minor right eye weakness, my left little finger doesnt bend alone and a few torso muscles have gone. BUT I HAVE A FUTURE NOW!!!! Thanks to a little tiny drug that costs very little compared to the expensive over priced MS drugs that can cause a lot more damage than good. My daughters are oblivious to my illness. They have no idea that I have no memory of their first year and that their Mummy nursed, dressed and changed my nappies/clothes as she did theirs. This drug has given me a future. THANK GOD!!!!!! Don't deprive others of the same please.

I have ME/CFS and would benefit immensely if drugs like this were readily available to try for this condition. I have even seen doctor's scrutinized for prescribing it and find this behaviour a failure of the medical system. More severe diseases such as MS could also be more successfully treated.

My condition, my body, my choice. I have done enough research of my own to accept that LDN is less harmful than my current medication regime.
