The world isn't safe enough for the children to be in a public learning environment. Im not trusting the district to ensure that other kid's parents are teaching their children proper hygienic practices.

Options should be available. I don’t want to be stuck in a red level with relaxed sanitation and even vaccinated teachers contracting and spreading to unvaccinated students who are not able to get the vaccine due to under 12.

I want the virtual option available for children 12 and under, really for any parent who is unwilling to risk there child’s life or those who live with them during these uncertain times. Especially since there are safer and available options in virtual learning.

It is just not safe right now to send our kids to school. Events everywhere are being cancelled. People are recognizing that we should not gather in crowds so we don’t spread the virus. Why are we going to send our kids to crowded schools?

as a parent to an immunocompromised child, being able to keep her safe while sending her siblings to school virtually.. might very well save their sisters life. To keep my kids in public school, this option is vital for our family
