I am against any form of military aggression by any sovereign state against another or directed to inflict harm on a group of unarmed helpless civilians who can do precious little but suffer. It’s a catastrophe of human values.

I believe the school’s role is to provide education. I believe it’s a Dean’s role to run the school and unite the students by communicating objective views and values that we all truly share. This did not happen.
Whether you are the school or a student, if we are going to start commenting on political matters, then why not include all wars and all polarizing topics?
If we all really respect each other and value diversity, inclusion and stand by the Equality Act 2010 (which LBS policies are based on) then all crises matter. And no one would have any objection to supporting any cause that affects anyone in the student body.
And why not invite the students to speak at a forum? This would ensure a fair and objective representation of views. All students matter. And this matter, matters to all of us.
Thankfully, humanitarian crises are not polarising. Regardless of one’s subjective political or religious views, we are all humans, we can all take action, support, donate to the humanitarian crises - all of them.
ALL of us come from countries that have been affected by wars. I join the group of students who condemn violence, call out hate when they see it, strive for peace are fully empathetic to ALL the innocent civilians have been killed in this war and every war.
